I can't believe we skipped Oblivion. This week, we take a long look at the launch titles for the PS3 in our brand new segment, as well as just remark on what a great console it was overall. There's also a new demo for the Resident Evil 4 remake that features the iconic opening to the horror classic, and some news with the usual delays, reveals, and some brand synergy that neither of us saw coming. From Walking Wake to Pokemon Sleep. This week, we get a bit critical over Destiny 2's Lightfall expansion and some frustrating encounter design, while still saying a lot of good things about the latest in the saga. Then, we look at Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, a game that plays it super safe - even for Kirby. Time to take back the island. This week, we're finally covering the sixth and final main world of Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, where Retro's level design is at its absolute peak. Some of the greatest platforming stages ever developed are here as the longest world brings the highest of highs with relatively few lows. One of our finest tangents. This week, we're looking at two massive, brand new releases. The first, is Like a Dragon: Ishin, the long-awaited debut of this beloved spinoff in America. The Like a Dragon series steps into the 1860s for some samurai action, along with the series' trademark melodrama and humor. Then, we delve into Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line, a definitive collection of songs and beats from the Final Fantasy series. Plus we unlock some core memories in the intro.
