Old games and new games - from RPG to FPS, first to third-party, indie to big exclusives, Markers on the Map takes you on a journey through a vast open world where we discuss gaming news and wax lyrical (or sometimes complain) about games we're currently playing, as well as old favorites. With two highly different tastes, we'll take you on a gaming adventure and introduce you to a new favorite, or visit an old friend.

There's always news. Always. This week, there just happens to be a massive influx of news, like the way-too-early announcement of a new Witcher game, an unnecessary subscription service for GTA Online, and a fresh delay on a game we've been talking about since the very first episode... and that's just scratching the surface. We've also got some first looks at Wonderlands and Returnal's Ascension DLC. Check us out on Twitter @MarkersOnTheMap.

Drive, Tarnished. We're looking at three of the more realistic racing games this week. Okay, maybe Dirt 5 isn't as realistic, but there's still real cars. The other two are the modern simulators: the newly-released Gran Turismo 7 and the incredibly difficult Dirt Rally 2.0. All three games are excellent additions to the racing genre. We also talk a little more Elden Ring at the top of the show. Check us out on Twitter @MarkersOnTheMap.

Not an Elden Ring episode, but there's still a whole discussion. This week, we delve into the beautiful and dangerous world of Horizon Forbidden West, a great game with a few trappings of the open world machine. We also talk about the latest State of Play and GTAV's next-gen release. Both of us have a few gripes this week. Plus, we've got an all-new segment that takes a look at clothing and style in the world of Pokemon! Check us out on Twitter @MarkersOnTheMap.

We discuss the latest Nintendo Direct announcements, like a new installment in the Fire Emblem Warriors franchise, the return of Mario Strikers, and the sheer surprise of 48 new courses in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. There's plenty more announcements where that came from, too. Plus, the difficulty debate returns with a discussion of reactions to the new brawler, SIFU. Check us out on Twitter @MarkersOnTheMap.
