Markers on the Map: A Gaming Adventure

Dread it, run from it, a great game still arrives. This week we're looking at the long-awaited sequel to 2002's Metroid Fusion, the Switch's Metroid Dread. The true evolution of the series  is here, featuring enhanced mobility, challenging battles, and new E.M.M.I. units that hunt Samus throughout. We literally had a time loop recording this one. This week, we're looking at Arkane's new shooter for the PS5, Deathloop, where knowledge is just as strong as any other weapon in Colt's arsenal. They said Sonic Colors was "the one." This week we delve into Sonic Colors, the 3D Sonic that everyone seems to like... but for what reasons? We examine the game in detail, and find some disappointment. After that, we begin the SNES Revival with a little-known game called Jelly Boy, which seems like it could have inspired Sonic Colors with its myriad similarities. The longest anime title of all time. This week we're taking a big look at Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, the ultimate edition of one of the greatest games of all time. We really didn't like that beta. This week we're looking at Pokemon Presents' updates to Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, as well as the new prequel, Legends Arceus.
